Motorcycles have always been more than just a mode of transport to me. They are also a source of inspiration. The success of my first book; 'One Down Four Up', was about all the motorcycles in my life. My new book: 'The Gifted Amateur', is about the other parts of my life (with a few motorcycle cameos of course) that I wanted to share. I have worked hard on this book and have dug deep in my reflections and have been absolutely true to myself. It is interesting when we pause for a second, and simply wonder about how we got to where we are today. My hope is that by reading this book you will come to much the same conclusion as I have. You are here right now as a direct result of the choices and decisions you made. It's not rocket science, but it is fascinating to think that everything that has happened in your life has put you right here right now. Often with no training, or professional advice, you would have made decisions and taken actions based on your own judgement. Maybe you too, are a Gifted Amateur.
